    MY LIST:

    ANY sound effect in space.

Dumb bitches walking into dark rooms when there's ominous music playing.

The girl always falls down when running from something.

Yoda Kicks ass but needs a cane to walk?

Running out of bullets when shooting Superman in the chest, but when the bad guy throws the gun, Superman ducks?!?

The idea of Imperial walkers attacking from one vantage point on the ground is tactically ridiculous. Especially when the Empire could easily and more efficiently nuke the base from space.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Precisely my point. The movie would be five minutes long and the bad guys would win. What would be the point?

"Dumb" or not, a lot of people cite the chestburster scene from Alien as one of the scariest in film history.

I could understand a list of stupid things otherwise smart characters did in a movie (like Brundle trying his own machine, Skynet sending a new Terminator, etc.)... How could the Imperial Walker sequence from Empire even be on this list? 25 years after the fact, it still holds up.

Adam Berliant must be a major Trekkie.

A conspicuous absence of ANY plot from ANY Trek movie just confirms this. Saving WHALES? And bringing them on your fucking SPACESHIP?

    It's not dumb.

We're talking Life Goes On Corky retarded.

    I applaud you.

If they were going to call bullshit on Signs, they should've used the aliens' weakness being water.

Okay-- so we have an organism that is smart enough to A) build a spacecraft and b) navigate the galaxy, but they go to conquer a planet that is 3/4ths water... y'know, what fucking kills them? With evidence of water on other parts of the solar system, aliens would have to know it exists and what it does... or at least wear a damn spacesuit instead of free-ballin' it.

    Damn.

If you're going to send your forces to a foreign terrain, at least send some recon first. Even the backwoods yokels of the galaxy like us humans do that (and on our own planet)...

And we all know how we would feel with an alien gestating inside... My pregnant wife gets suddenly and feverishly hungry.

That is quite stupid. The last one I met was pretty much a retard.

9.) Superman turns back time: "Superman: The Movie"
Okay, saving Margot Kidder wasn't a bright idea but I'll let the theory slide until somebody disproves it.
